Since 2003, Iron Thunder Motorcycle Club has hosted the 5 State Run. It is held on the second Saturday in May every year. Since it's inception, the Run has grown to fill every hotel room in Guymon, OK and attracts an average attendance of 1,000+ bikes and trikes. Some people come for their shot at 1st Place, some come for the scenery and many return because of what they become a part of.

With the funds raised through the 5 State Run, Iron Thunder MC donates all of the profit back to the community.  We have helped with medical expenses and devices, house fires and we have even helped with funeral expenses.  With the growth of the Run, we have been able to help hundreds of families and individuals over the years.  Some of you may have been able to hear some of the stories at the Run from those we have helped.  Or you may have seen their stories shared on the board at the Activity Center.

We would like to thank every one of you who have come out and supported our Run in years past.  Because of you, we have been able to bring help to those who need it.  If this is your first year to come, we look forward to having you and hopefully getting to meet you face to face.

As soon as the Run is over, the process of planning and organizing for next year's Run begins.  Iron Thunder is a small club and we do our very best to make sure that we have one of the most organized events in the Panhandle.  We hope that our efforts come through in every area of the Run.  Each Run is the result of a full year's planning, discussing, phone calls an emails getting every facet of the Run ready to go.

Since we are a small club, we rely on an awesome group of volunteers.  Without them, the Run would not be possible.  Our tremendous gratitude is extended to them, but yet, we cannot thank them enough.  If you happen to see one of them working a Punch Stop, running a registration table, filling the water/pop tank or cleaning up trash give them a pat on the back.

Guymon, OK is a town of about 12,000 located in the center of the Oklahoma Panhandle.  The early part of May can mean unpredictable weather.  For any firs-timer's, you may want to have gear for all four season's and you may need them all in the same day.  An no, that's not a joke.  It might be 95 and sunny, 45 and cloudy or 75 with 45 mph winds.

Since Guymon is a smaller town, that mean's limited hotel rooms.  If you are planning on attending our Run, make your reservations as soon as possible as rooms fill up quickly.
